On July 26, 2011, Veronica Garcia brutally attacked a dog named Vera by slicing off her ear with a butcher knife and brutally beating the dog with brass knuckles, which is a deadly weapon .  All over doing what is natural for most dogs to do.  Going after small game, Garcia's "pet" rooster.  Which roosters are against city ordinances to keep in the City of Detroit.

This brutal attack occurred while Vera sat and waited to be let into her home.  She was not in Garcia's yard at the time, nor was she attacking the rooster.  In fact we do not know if Vera was the dog that attacked the rooster at all.  However, Veronica Garcia had no trouble tracking down a dog to beat while young children watched in horror over her rooster being attacked in her yard.

We want Veronica Garcia to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  No plea bargains or lowered sentence.  We want this women to serve time behind bars for what she has done to Vera.
