Peter Meurrens and Laurent Ghilain wanted to be parents and worked with a an agency to find a Ukrainian woman to be a surrogate mother. Samuel Ghilain was born on November 28, 2008 and is Laurents biological son. Because there are no regulations regarding surrogacy, the Belgian consulate refuses to issue them a passport for Samuel.

Since Belgium refuses to allow the couple to legally bring their child into the country, Samuel spent a year being raised by Ukrainian foster parents and since then has been placed in a Ukrainian orphanage. 

Please help Peter and Laurent complete their family and bring Samuel home.
