Judge Jeanine Howard failed society as a whole when she gave an admitted rapist a lenient 45 days in jail, paired with 250 hours of community service at a rape crisis center. What an inappropriate place for him to serve!

In 2011, Sir Young admitted that he raped a 14 year old girl in a Dallas school. Instead of protecting a victim, Judge Howard declared the rapist "not your typical sex offender," and proceeded to bring in the victim's past as justification for her rape. This is not the kind of message we should tolerate being sent to victims of sexual assault or to criminals!

Judge Howard is unopposed in her bid for re-election, so she will begin her 3rd 4-year term in January 2015. If you think Dallas County can't stand 4 more years of Judge Howard's bad judgement, sign the petition asking her to voluntarily resign from office.
