Jose Guerena -- DEMAND JUSTICE!

The Issue

They Shot Him 60 Times.

Jose Guerena joined the Marines in 2002, serving two tours in Iraq in 2003 and 2005.

On May 5, 2011,  in Tucson, AZ, Jose had just worked an overnight shift and was sleeping when his wife, Vanessa, heard noises outside their house and saw a man through the window. Jose told Vanessa to hide in the closet with their four-year-old son and left the room.

As you can see from the video, what happened next is horrifying.

Jose Guerena was shot at least 60 times as a SWAT team burst into his house. Vanessa called "911", but the SWAT team prevented the paramedics from reaching Jose. Vanessa is now a widow, and her children will grow up without a father. No drugs were found in the home.

How high does the body count have to get before we say the "war on drugs" is a monumental failure? How many wives have to be turned into widows? How many lives have to be turned upside down?
