Sacramento County Community mental health care is in a crisis, and we need your help. The County is still facing unprecedented budget deficits forcing further Cuts in funding for community mental health services while demand for community mental health care is increasing.
Without access to community mental health services many people will end up in hospitals, on the streets, in jail or even dead. The county will pay a high price in emergency rooms, school failure, increased police encounters and overcrowded prisons.
Lend your voice today to remind the county Board of Supervisors that further cuts to mental health services will not solve the County's budget crisis as it will further hurt our communities.

Dear Sacramento County Board of Supervisors,
Greetings,
I am writing to urge you to reconsider additional harmful budget cuts to community mental health care. While the County continues to grapple with the budget deficit there is no excuse for dismantling community-based mental health care.
Please consider the impact that this will have; dramatic increase in homelessness, institutionalization and incarceration rates as thousands of seriously mentally ill individuals will be left untreated and unhelped.
Thank you fo saving taxpayer dollars while saving lives.
