On his radio show February 29th, Mr. Limbaugh called Ms. Fluke "a slut" and "a prostitute." He alleged that she was "having so much sex" that she couldn't afford contraception.
He went further the next day, adding, "if we're going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something for it. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch."
Nothing of what Ms. Fluke said in her testimony to Congress as a citizen merits Mr. Limbaugh's portrayal of her. We find his actions reprehensible and beyond distasteful and an affront to all who advocate for women's rights. We respectfully request an immediate suspension for a period of time you deem to be appropriate for his actions.
