Wanna story?

1. the recruiters lie about everything they have there.

2. ouachita job corps is highly racist agianst white people, and will try to jump you if you play country music.

3. they steal everything you own.

4. including your completion pay, or education pay if you didnt do your trade.

5. 30 women to over 150 men. lots of sexual harrassment, and nobody does anything but blame the women, say they must have done something to deserve it, and so on.

6. the food is crap, and makes all new people sick for a month till their bodies adjust to it. and aviod the juice at all costs. its toxic.

7. you have to go through hell to get basic supplies like soap. even to the point where sometimes you have to sneak off center to buy it sometimes.

8. everything is broken there. including the washing machines. and vacuumes.

9. everybody gets framed for something eventually.

10. a lot of the staff treat you like shit.

11. they even steal your underwear.

12. your never alone. sometimes even when your changing.

13. you dont get time to eat. just 5 minutes sometimes. you will lose weight. and have no way to get new clothes.

14. if someone hits you and you defend yourself you get terminated

15. if someone doesnt like you they plant weed in your stuff, report you, and you get terminated.

16. people will trash your room, report you for uncleanlyness, write you up, and repeat till you get terminated.

17. there are streakers in the dorms. there are some things you just shouldnt see. like fat naked women running. ew.

18. you will get groped. if you hit them, your terminated and arrested. if you report them, they dont do anything about it, and accuse you of being a whore.

19. if you get sick, your out of luck. even if you are throwing up blood. you have to work anyways, and they wont take you to a hospital. i know this for a fact.

20. they lie about putting you on insurance. you dont get any. and you cant afford to buy your own.

21. need a new bra? tough, you dont get one. make yours last....try not to let your boobs get bigger. or smaller as you loose weight.

22. its filled with gangster wannabes. with no respect for women. who are violent when turned down. make big friends, and find the country boys. if any are left.

23. they have a high suicide rate. when i was there for 7 months, there were 3 attempts. that i know of. they were my friends. job corps is not country freindly. or gothic friendly. or emo friendly. or punk friendly. or nonchristian friendly. or white friendly. or gay friendly. or bi friendly. or anything thats not black friendly.

24. hope you dont smoke, its a doller a cigerrette. walmart hates job corps. thats why they are expensive. sometimes  they get banned, and no one can get anything for a long time. inlcuding soap.

25. they only go to one church. if its not your type of church, or you need to get to another type of religious place, your out of luck. sorry. not even to a store to buy religious items. they really are hatefull people.

26. sleep? hope you can run on very little. the lights are on all night, loud music playing, and people yelling screaming and fighting all night.

JOB CORPS VIOLATES WOMENS RIGHTS!

 

 

in job corps, there are staff sleeping with students, and some cases would be considered statitory. they treat you like crap, and will not send you your money. but the real danger is the way women are treated. we were told that there is not enough interest in womens fit uniforms, so we are forced to wear mens clothing, which can often rub the wron way and cause sores, or the huge clothing can get caught in machinery and cause injuries. if  a woman is sexualy harrassed or molested, they tell the women she must have done something to deserve it, that she must have led him on. if she files a report agianst the aggresor, it is thrown away,and if its a white woman reporting a black male, she is accused of being racist. the washers and dryers in the womens dorm are more often broke than not, and therefore it is hard to to get clean clothing. the beds are so high, you have to climb a ladder to get to them and often women fall out of their bed at night due to lack of railings. this has caused miscarriages in a few cases. there is only one small room with only two beds for girls who cant physicall climb the stairs or ladders, or who are pregnant. if more than two girls are pregnant at a time, one has to remain in the unsafe beds, endangering thier children, and often causing problems with the unborn child. there were some causes where a woman was hit and made to miscarry, and the center did nothing for the mother, or agianst the murderer. .women are horribly mistreated, which is why there are so few in the system at the job corps i was at. the treatment is why i left. no women deserves to be sexually harrased. and if you get threatened, or "jumped"? your shit outta luck. they center will do nothing. to many woman have put up with too much crap. i have written an expose on them, and sent them to government officials, yet nothing happens. help stand up for womens rights and make sure this page gets seen by as many as possible!
