Japan's Olympic gymnasts had worn an outfit with a pattern representing Rising Sun Flag during the 2012 London Olympic.

Rising Sun Flag was used as the war flag of the Imperial Japanese Army and the ensign of the imperial Japanese Navy until the end of World War II. It symbolizes Japanese imperialism and its ruthless killing of 20 million Asians during World War II.

During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Japanese fans were told not to display the Rising Sun Flag because it recalls Japanese military occupation, oppression and wartime atrocities.

However, as seen in the recent Olympic and other international events, Rising Sun Flag has been widely used.

Japanese government said it will allow the audiences' use of Rising Sun Flag during the upcoming 2012 FIFA U-20 women's soccer game which will be held in Tokyo.

***** WE MUST STOP THE USE OF RISING SUN FLAG IN ANY KINDS OF INTERNATIONAL SPORTING EVENTS.

The use of the flag is equivalent to the use of Nazi flag. Can you imagine if spectators display the Nazi flag or any associated symbols on a competition uniform or in any kinds of sporting events?

WE MUST put a stop to the use of Rising Sun Flag by Japanese people.

First, we should petition the FIFA President Joseph Blatter to ban the use of Rising Sun Flag in any kinds of FIFA events, especially the upcoming U-20 women's game.
