Jaimee Chamberlain knew of the abuse her son Carnel Chamberlain was enduring, yet she failed to report it to authorities ,She admitted to the FBI that she not only saw signs of abuse on her four-year-old son, but she witnessed the masochistic actions of Anthony Bennett -- the man in federal custody right now. She brought him into the home of an abuser -- Anthony Bennett. She let this man beat her son with his fists and choke slam him into the floor. She left her son alone in the care of this man. It is illegal to fail to report child abuse in the state of Michigan. Jaimee failed to protect Carnel and because of that he is now deceased.she allowed this abuse to continue and did nothing. She refused to save her little boy when he needed her the most. She is just as responsible for his death as the monster who did it. Jaimee Chamberlain told the FBI that she saw her son with a bruised and swollen face as well as a cut lip in late May or early June. She said he had been struck by Bennett when she was away from the home. A few days later, she saw Bennett pick up her son by the neck and drop him before dragging him into a room by his foot, according to the court document. per Michigan law you are required to report child abuse,  Jaimee failed to do this.
