The Issue
In this year, 2011, at 8:30 PM on Saturday, March 26, a globally recognized stand against human-caused global warming, known as Earth Hour, will take place. Earth Hour asks that all non-necessary lights be turned off for one (1) hour, wherever you are in the world. Lights off is a vote for the Earth, and a vote for positive environmental change.
Earth Hour doesn't have to be jsut sitting in darkness for an hour. It can be fun. Throw a dinner party for close friends, or a block party for the whole neighborhood. Have games by candlelight, speed dating, nature walks.
