Investigate Vos!
The Issue
The undersigned petitioners request an immediate investigation by the Dane County District Attorney regarding the actions of Joint Finance Co-Chair Rep. Robin Vos who acted with deliberate effort to deceive the public, violate rules and standards and shield the legislative process from the people of Wisconsin with regard to the redistricting process.
Through the process to redraw district maps, Representative Vos intentionally violated open meetings and public notice requirements.
Representative Vos acted to coordinate the signing of secrecy agreements by Republican legislators which required them to withhold information from the public in what is supposed to be an open and transparent process as stated in Article IV, §10 of the WI Constitution.
Representative Vos' intentional violation of the public trust demonstrates a failure to uphold the oath of office to which he has sworn and the tradition of open and transparent governance which Wisconsin citizens deserve.
