International Astronomical Union (IAU): Rename Alpha Centauri Bb to something more inspiring

The Issue

On October 16th 2012, astronomers with the European Southern Observatory announced that they have found a planet orbiting Alpha Centauri B. Planet was dubbed "Alpha Centauri Bb".

At just 4.37 light years the Alpha Centauri Bb is by far the closest planet to the Earth ever discovered outside of our Solar System.

Finding a closest planet to the Earth outside of the Solar system is a big deal and deserves a more inspiring name than current "Alpha Centauri Bb".

Why not give this significant discovery a creative and friendly name like our Solar system planets enjoy? This can be done in various ways - one of which is for IAU to start an online name submissions page and hold a consequent contest for most supported names.
