Currently in California most people with insurance, don't know that most insurances won't cover for hearing aids/implants/devices that can recover hearing loss. The insurance companies believe that sign language is acceptable even if the problem can be cured through such devices. That is basically like saying a person that needs glasses can do fine without them, using braille. Many other states have a mandate that insurance companies provide the coverage needed to fix or help resolve hearing issues and California should be no different. Help join the movement for California to still be one of the greatest places to live.
