When President Obama says the oil industry has a "cozy" relationship with government agencies, government agencies can no longer be relied upon to produce accurate unbiased information that will impact the legal, financial and moral obligations of that industry. Official measurement and assessment of the Gulf oil spill must be conducted by independent scientists and paid for by BP, not American taxpayers through tainted government agencies.
