Unfair Small Business Application Fee in Illinois

Hi! My name is Fuji. I am running for 50th Ward Alderman in Chicago. I implore you to sign my petition, so you and I, and our children someday will have a fair, equal and genuine opportunity to start a small business in Illinois.

I want to register a LLC (Limited Liability Company). An LLC is a business entity created under state law that can protect small business entrepreneurs like myself from personal liability. LLCs are becoming a very popular choice to start a small business in America because of their simplicity and flexibility.

Unfortunately, starting a small business in Illinois is cost prohibitive compared to other states. The LLC Illinois application filing fee is $500.00. Other states boarding Illinois have Limited Liability Company filing fees much less than Illinois’ unfair $500.00 application fee.

As an inner-city educator and technologist I have real and personal concerns about education and job creation. As an inner-city educator I have personally lost students to the pandemic violence of Chicago streets. I do not want to see anymore empty school chairs because there are so few job opportunities for my kids and families.

As a technologists I desperately want to improve Illinois job creation opportunities for our children by starting a computer networking company that would teach, train and employ students installing the most up-to-date “internetworking” equipment in our schools. The schools would benefit from the modern networking equipment by making a schools’ internet experience a lot safer, incredibly faster and exponentially more educational. Illinois students would have access to real-world 21st century job skill that they could use for work at a company someday or in college when they graduate high school. 

Please sign my petition so small business entrepreneurs like myself can start a business here in Illinois so we can allow our family, friends and neighbors to go back to work! 

As an ordinary working person fighting to become an Independent Alderman Candidate for the 50th Ward in Chicago, I implore all patriotic Americans, I invite all Republican and Democratic candidates running for office this year, to join me and sign my petition to make Illinois open for business!   We need to all work together for job creation for everybody!
