For years I have carefully selected animal cruelty free products for my family and I to use. We also rescue and foster animals and volunteer with several animal rescue groups in our state. So I was shocked and outraged today to find out that the Iams pet products company conducts horrifying and painful tests on frightened and defenseless animals. They keep them confined to steel and cement enclosures, severe dogs' vocal chords to keep them from barking, allow them to become sick and lay in their cages to die without offering veterinary care or allowing rescue groups to save them. They also have chunks of their muscles cut out of their thighs so they cannot run away. I am appalled and sick because we USED to buy Iams all natural dog food. After finding out what they do to these poor creatures I will never support their company again. Please, please help me stand up for these animals and tell Iams to stop these cruel and pointless tests on them.
