I have a commitment to plant 500 trees this year involving foreign tourists, school children, members and all the like minded people in and around the city of Delhi to sustain green environment and green living.
The main reason for making this commitment is because of the increasing pollution and degradation of the environment due to industrial revolution, vehicles, increase in population etc.
Green trees around us provide a clean environment, fresh air and peaceful feeling.
So join me in this pledge to plant 500 trees in the year 2008.
