UPDATE:  The highly needed Wall Street Reform bill took one step closer to final passage last week when the Senate approved the measure;  but threats to consumers still remain.  Learn more about such threats here.  Thank you for the support.

In the last few months, Wall Street firms and Big Business have spent millions of dollars to stop financial reform, gut all proposed consumer protections, and make consumers afraid to hold them accountable for their latest debacle.

The reality is that I am not afraid of financial reform; I am much more afraid of bank bailouts, predatory lending, hidden fees, abusive terms, sky-high interest rates, and other big-business monsters fighting against the interests of hard-working Americans and the economic well-being of millions of families.

I am not the only one.  Almost two-thirds of Americans support Congressional efforts to reform our financial system.

Is that what Wall Street is afraid of?
