With over 300,000 traumatized combat vets coming home, the VA and military mental health are overwhelmed. Drugs have dangerous side-effects and only suppress symptoms, talk therapy is too slow and exposure "therapy" is too painful and takes too many sessions. More veterans have died by suicide than in combat and this must stop! EFT is: holistic (no harm) non-drug, non-traumatizing, works fast, can be self-applied, is private, and once properly treated, the issue doesn't come back. EFT can be used for some kinds of pain including phantom limb pain from amputations. It can be used by anyone, even kids with help from an adult.  EFT is in the public domain; no license is required. EFT has been used in disaster zones and with traumatized people in war zones around the world for over 25 years. To see a riveting video of EFT in action with a combat veteran who witnessed a murder/suicide at age 10 that triggered his PTSD from Iraq at age 20, go to  www.guidedhealing.com and click on the video screen. The suicide rate among troops is increasing. To review the studies, go to www.energypsych.org and click on the RESEARCH tab. The VA MUST allow therapists to include research-based EFT in the therapeutic toolbox NOW.
