We, the undersigned members of Kenyans For Wildlife, individual concerned citizens of Kenya, and individuals from around the world who are passionate tourists of the region; recognise the negative impact polythene waste has had on Kenya's environment and wildlife directly and indirectly and hereby seek the urgent support of the proposed ban by your ministry in the interest of safeguarding wildlife and ecosystems, rivers, oceans and open spaces for the prosperity of future generations and the imperative need for the protection of ecosystem services nationwide.
