Puppy mills are inhumane and horrible ways of breeding puppies. The sole purpose of breeding puppies this way is to make money. Puppies that come from these mills are not well fed, walked, and are usually very unhealthy.

These puppies, in some cases, may even be bred in someone's home. Many breeding facilities are not regulated and don't have the papers. Breeders require papers from the Canadian Kennel Club to breed dogs; however, breeders who breed puppies for the sole purpose of money typically do not own these papers; therefore, these dogs are treated terribly and it is inhumane!

It is not a rare case that these breeders will have too many puppies and they will end up in rescue homes. Furthermore, in several cases these puppies will be so sick that they may be put down, or put up for adoption. I do encourage everyone to adopt a puppy from rescue homes if they are able to.
