This is a proposal to redesign the way we live, work, commute, consume and govern ourselves to create economic security, peace and sustainability a community at a time.

The Holigent Solution is based on a hybrid socioeconomic system that utilizes the best features of capitalism parallel with direct human resource input. Community credit earned in community service will help reduce the power of money, create and retains local value and wealth and secure quality of life even during economic recessions.

We want to start the local to global Holigent Solution by building a demonstration mixed-use, live/work, low-carbon compact Holigent Urban Village paired with an innovative hybrid socioeconomic system.

The demonstration Village will facilitate the transition from car-dependent to car-free living; from suburban sprawl to safe, walkable urban village; and from unsustainable capitalist consumerism to a sustainable hybrid socioeconomic operating system. The nonprofit managed Holigent community will also transition from crime fighting to crime prevention by providing outreach, training and jobs for adjacent neighborhoods with special attention to their at-risk youth.

Once the demonstration Urban Village is functioning successfully, we propose the development of Holigent communities into regional and then national networks that would create millions of jobs and leave a legacy of quality of life in secure, affordable and sustainable communities across America. 

The Holigent Solution would lead to a cellular restructuring of society into networks of self-financed, self-organized and mutually supportive communities. This would lower the stress on our overstretched social/economic/environmental system, reduce the burden on and size of government, shrink the “too big to fail” banks and corporations, and downsize the military industrial complex.
