Morris Safe House has been providing quality care and the adoption of animals for both lubbock and hockley counties. With out this wonderful non kill facility hundreds would be homeless or unneccesarily euthanized. The road floods any time it rains making it nearly impassable for anyone wishing to adopt or to volunteer at the facility. Even 4 wheel drive trucks have problems coming down the roads on certain days! These dogs RELY on people being able to get out there to be able to care for them and assist them. The shelter has tried to have their road improved by the county many times only to be ignored. Please tell Mr. Thrash how important the road is to us as a community and to the lives of the animals that Morris Safe House saves every day!
