I have been suffering from depression due to noise nuisance caused by the lack of adequate soundproofing to the flooring upstairs. The people who live above me are young and stomp about like elephants, which is very distressing for me to experience because there's no escape unless I go out. I have been waiting for Hexagon Housing Association (HHA) to arrange sound tests to my flat and the flat upstairs since April 2011 but I've heard nothing from them. I've e-mailed the man responsible for the sound tests, Mr Lloyd Morgan - no reply. I then e-mailed the head of HHA, Mr Tom Harding, to explain my position (that I feel I'm being driven mad) and asking for his intervention - no reply. I feel like I'm invisible and I'm quite desperate because I truly feel I'll snap and go berserk. Please would you sign my petition and ask HHA to not only arrange the sound tests promptly but to also provide the soundproofing that is so needed. Many, many thanks indeed. Virginia Burke
