Help Stop Hyatt Worker Injuries

Help Stop Hyatt Worker Injuries

The Issue

According to a recent study, housekeepers at Hyatt hotels are far more likely to injure themselves on the job than those at other companies. Hyatt forces their workers to clean up to 30 rooms a day, twice the industry standard!

Because of the demand, housekeepers are forced to work fast and face injuries from slipping, falling, repeatedly lifting heavy mattresses and cleaning floors on hands and knees.

Hyatt also punishes workers who come forward to report injuries, and creates an incentive not reporting injuries with a bonus lottery.

Hyatt could easily fix the problem it has with worker injuries with a few simple steps. Write to Hyatt CEO Mark S. Hoplamazian and ask him to make these changes to protect workers.
