I join Habitat for Humanity in supporting the Serve America Act because it will:

- Create a new corps of 175,000 Americans who will give a year of service;

- Support innovative ideas to encourage service at nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity;

- Expand the Peace Corps and international service missions in developing nations;

- Increase the availability of volunteer stipend and education awards - which will make it possible for more Americans to serve.
