Help Protect the territorial integrity of Mali

Help Protect the territorial integrity of Mali
The Issue
Issue: Separatist rebels, including late Muammar Gaddafi's ex-soldiers and Aqmi (AQIM) terrorist groups, have seized at least half of the Malians territory as of 04/01/2012 using heavy arms, which most likely originated from Libya.
Why NATO, EU and UN should act:
Current issues in Mali are, in part, direct consequences of the Post-Libyan crises, in which the NATO was involved and imposed arms embargo against Libya. However, many loyalists to Gaddafi were surprisingly able to make their way to the Desert of Mali, crossing one or more countries with sophisticated weapons. Today, they have used those same weapons once used to fight the NATO forces and the Libyan rebellions, to expropriate cities belonging to the Sovereign Mali.
Moreover, the presence of these dangerous terrorist/separatist groups and narco-trafficants in Mali represents a threat not only to the local Malian population but also to the stability of the West African Region and eventually to the rest of the World if these terrorists were to succeed implanting their headquarters in the African Sahara.
All nations should join forces to help Mali repel these invaders and reinstate its territorial integrity.
Thank You
