Today's post about the Philadelphia anti-foreclosure mediation model comes as the Senate is debating a companion bill to the House's approved legislation to prevent foreclosures.   S. 896, Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009 will be coming before the Senate for a vote. 

Please contact your Senator and ask them to vote for this bill!

While you are at it, tell them you want S.61, Helping Families Save Their Homes in Bankruptcy Act of 2009, to make it out of Committee!
