Baltimore County Animal Control will euthanize rather than allow a rescue to pick up a dog for fostering- let's change this policy.

The Issue

Today, Baltimore County Animal Control on Manor Rd in Baldwin had possession of a senior small dog that was wanted by a local dog rescue. Before the rescue could get him, Animal Control killed him.

This dog and others are wanted but Animal Control repeatedly has been unwilling to cooperate with rescues or reliably answer their phone for potential adopters. There is nothing we can do for the dog that was killed this morning (impound #33471) but there are many, many others.

Sign today so we have numbers that get some attention and then we can visibly show our county government how important an issue it is to taxpayers and animal lovers that humane procedures be followed.
