John Bunnell Needs to come home. His family is ready and willing to do their part to aid John's recovery but the facility that he was mistakenly put in refuses to assist and doesnt want to lose their cash cow

 John Bunnell was laid low due to an automobile accident IN Southern Virginia. He spent 83 days considered 'comatose' and has managed to fight his way back with everything he can as much as he can every single day. Even with a traumatic Brain Injury as well as a Fractured Back and Neck.. His sons are scattered, His longtime Girlfriend and Extended Family unable to have as much access to him as he needs to stimulate his mind as well as help his body heal.  The facility that he is in is unsuitable for his needs and are chalking him up as a 'full bed' to line their facilities pockets. They are being uncooperative about completing what needs to be done to bring John home. They refuse him physical therapy and even the basic need to be clean giving excuse after excuse of why he cant be showered. They stopped giving him vocal therapy that he needs so that he can prove that he can swallow so they can maintain his 'care level' as high and milk more money from the insurance company even tho he can swallow and could probably eat on his own. He sucks the water off the sponge evert time his mouth care is done and tries to speak but they wont vent wean him to close his trach. When it was demanded that another doctor be brought in to care for John we were told , that he cant have one, the current doctor refuses to allow a second opinion. Animals are treated better then John is being treated right now. 

John is a good man with a good heart. He is a father of three boys and Uncle to 8 more. He is loved by his Identical Twin and Sister In Law, His mother is devastated and the entire family is in chaos. They all believe with the right treatment John can recover he just needs the mental stimulation and physical stimulation that only a loud boisterous family can provide!

Im asking that you sign this petition to help Bring John Home to his family who are ready willing and able to take care if him. 24 hours a day for the rest if their lives if need be. Its an expensive endeavor for his Mother and Sister In Law to visit him, even just once a week and his Girlfriend and Mother of his Children cant get there much more because John crashed the family car and she is over an hour away from the facility. He needs to be home as soon as possible where his family can help him recover be it in a new facility or at home with them.

John needs Medicare to get into a facility that is prepared to deal with his needs. The paperwork process for SSI and Medicare was started in February and because of the social workers incompetence, filed incorrectly. There is no income to support John's boys and we are forced to keep him in a nursing home even after he gets to New jersey because the Acute Long Term Facility that suits his needs will not accept medicaid. It should not be this hard for someone to receive the care that is due to them as a human being. A 37 year old man trapped in a Nursing Home in Virgina for goodness sake! Please help us tell The Senate and Congress that this shouldnt be and show them that we the taxpayers care about our fellow man while they sit in seats that WE put them in pointing figures at the opposing party. John needs help NOW, not republican Democrat bickering! BRING OUR BOY HOME!
