Our mission is to help Americans who are unemployed and looking for a new career or new job. We could all help in various ways such as lending a ear, a hand or some of your time to Help America's Unemployed. We want to help provide tools for the job search, resume tips, interviewing dos and dont's, and a platform for discussions and support for each other. We would also like for employers to post openings as well as anyone who knows of or sees a job to post the job on our site.

If you are looking for a job you might post your experience along with jobs and titles you have previously held on our Facebook page. You never know who will know of a job opening that you are qualified for and they might be able to help you out! I encourage everyone to post job openings that they know of and how someone could apply for that job. We can all get involved to help out because at any time it could be anyone of us that might need someone to reach out and help us get back on our feet.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the unemployment rate in December 2010 was 9.1 percent. This number does not include thoes who are under employed or people who have looked to odd jobs or contracting work to feed their families. This is unacceptable! It's time to put America back to work! Join the movement to see how you can help.
