I am asking that some serious consideration be given to adding Chiari Malformation to the list of current qualifying neurological disabilities and enabling uninsured patients with this illness to considered for state medical cards. Chiari Malformation is a malformation of the cerebral tonsils and results in a herniation of the brain. Its affects are devestating.  Though the Chiari Community is becomng more united in making our cause known, medically speaking, we often still suffer misdiagnosed, undiagnosed, or worse..untreated because of a lack of both knowledge in the medical field and lack of insurance. Countless sufferers of this illness were once insured, productive and self sufficient members of society. Now, due to the effects of this illness many are left unemployed , uninsured, and untreated. 

We are Many...This petition is just a few from around the world who would like for each state's goverenment to give a closer look at this condition.  We simply would like to be able to be treated by knowledgable doctors in hopes finding a treatment condusive to a semi normal life.
