Matthew Shepard, the young gay man that was invited by 2 straight men (pretending to be gay) to leave a bar with them. They pistol whipped him and beat him to near death and lashed him to a barbed wire fence. A passer by found him 18 hours later, like a scarecrow, on the fence.  He died at the hospital.
On April 29th she stood on the floor of the House and told others that Matthew Shepard was the name of the 'Hate Crimes Bill', but why? He wasn't even a victim of a hate crime, it was all a "HOAX".  Has this woman totally lost her mind, or is she hoping that others have forgotten this brutal crime against a man for his sexuality?  Is she a Bigot? Does she hate GLBT more than we can imagine? Why do you think she is still a Rep.? Should she be? I don't think so, she isn't representing her entire state. You tube video attached to show her 'representing' her state. Shame on you Rep. Foxx!

What part of being lured out of a bar by 2 men pretending to be gay.  Being pistol whipped and beaten.  Strapped to a barbed wire fence like a scarecrow and left to die. Discovered after 18 hours hanging there on that fence. And later to die in the hospital with his family mourning this vicious attack on their child because he was gay, do you not believe is proof of a 'Hate Crime'?  I can't believe that you actually are a representative of your state. I am sure they are aware of the fact that his death was the result of 2 men's hate for GLBT people.  You need to make a 'true' apology, not that lame attempt you made after blaming a T.V. show for your personal opinion. You are suppose to be educated.
