Mary Root is an 81 year old great-grandmother that was charged with four counts of not having her dogs licensed, eight counts of "a dog at large". She was unable to attend the court hearing due to medical reasons; Judge Cooper issued a bench warrant for her arrest. She was arrested held without bail. Her bail review, the next day, was set at $2500.00 and she had to get rid of her dogs. Mary declined to be released because she refuses to get rid of her dogs. With todays criminal activities this whole ordeal is incredulous.
