Not only has Guthy-Renker done everything "they" can to keep this from becoming a national headline on major news networks - which most recalls of this magnitude are, they have also managed to put a recall process in effect that is complex, drawn-out and disrespectful to the consumer.

If you are a consumer that uses Proactiv Solution, this makes you fully aware that to suspend use of the product - even for a few days can leads to breakouts. In that case, the fact that Guthy-Renker has made consumers aware of a "voluntary recall" and admitted "strength of propduct may not be reliable" and has expected you to wait up to 8 weeks to complete the entire process is unexceptable.

1)  Bring National attention to the recall.
2)  Replace recalled product in a timely manner without further hassle to the
consumer.
3)  If '2)' is not a possibility, refund the consumer the full amount paid towards recalled product.
