Recently a website, www.gURL.com, removed a photograph of a mother breastfeeding her child. They claimed the photo was against their terms of service and shout out board usage guidelines. The guidelines says this;

8. We reserve the right to remove any language or images that we deem inappropriate. Do not request or post links to any sites that display pornographic, violent or hateful materials. Do not post or request pornographic stories and/or images. Any racist, hateful, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate language (ie, derogatory of anyone's race, nationality, sexual orientation or religious beliefs) or images will be deleted. Breastfeeding is neither inappropriate, pornographic, violent or hateful. In fact, we've seen photos that are much worse then a mother breastfeeding her child floating around www.gURL.com, yet nothing is done about these photos.

It has gone as far as another member reporting the mother for violating the terms of service, saying this;

Picture of her breastfeeding her child. This is inappropriate considering the fact that this is putting the child in danger, since this picture can be transmitted around the internet, and she could be charged with child pornography. Please give her a warning or ban her.

We will not give in until the moderators realize that breastfeeding photographs are not inappropriate or pornography.
