Many animals advertised and sold on Gumtree end up in the hands of abusers . Dogs are used for fighting and baiting not as pets !!! Cats are often tortured before being cruelly killed . Gumtree do not vet anyone obtaining an animal , in fact they NEVER do checks to ensure these animals are going to a good home where they will be loved and cared for properly
