This bill is official government sanctioned rape. It is unconstitutional and an immoral invasion of privacy by government. There is absolutely no reason a woman should be required to undergo forced vaginal penetration by Virginia lawmakers, the vast majority of whom are men. Victims of rape who are seeking an abortion will be subjected to rape by transvaginal government probe. Any forced medical procedure not ordered by a licensed physician is an obtuse abuse of power. Virginia women are their doctors are powerless to make these decisions themselves and women and their insurance companies (if they have insurance) will be required to pay for these unnecessary tests out of pocket. This is a war on women, women's health, and women's rights in Virginia. Virginia Governor McDonnell has said that he will sign this bill. Once he does, this bill will be law.
