There is absolutely no data to support claims that Pit Bulls are 'Inherently Dangerous". It is the OWNERS responsibility to see that the proper training is given to insure a positive outcome. Positive Training of these intelligent, gentle, strong, loyal, companions is the ONLY way to get the kind of companion that MOST of us want. Most dogs, regardless of the Breed, if beaten, starved, chained to a 3 foot lead will have issues, just like abused humans.IF you abuse and train dogs to fight through abusive and inhuman consequences, what do you think you are going to end up with......It should be MANATORY for EVERYONE to take basic obedience classes before taking on the responsibility of having a companion dog....Especially,if the dog is big, strong, and can do damage if left amuck.  Different Breeds have different needs....They are not on auto pilot once they are grown. They are breed to give companionship, love. They are not here to be fought for money, or bait for training other dogs.... THIS is how they got a bad 'rap'. AND it is caused by HUMANS>>>>>>

There are enough Pits and Rotties dying every day because of the ignorance of those who obtain and than discard these creatures, who DID NOT ask to be 'domesticated' in the first place.

MAN made animals domesticated. NOW , they are dependant on us, literally. SO MAN needs to live up to the responsibility given to take care them.

IF MAN cannot, then leave them alone.

This rulling is unjust, unsubstantiated, and has no data to back it up....

If liability is the concern, (and its always about money) than put the blame where it belongs, on the Humans.

Make obedience classed manditory for the larger breeds...As a matter of fact, make a law that anyone owning a pet must have completed the basic obedience classes for dogs.
