Economic Punishment for the execution of Troy Davis

Economic Punishment for the execution of Troy Davis
The Issue
I am strongly opposed to the death penalty when the guilt of the inmate is in question. I do not believe any government should put innocent people to death.
If you need more information about the Troy Davis case, please read the following before signing this pledge:

Troy Davis is likely innocent. Yet, Georgia has found it more expedient to execute an innocent man than to grant him a retrial. So many witnesses have recanted their testimony. This isn't a black vs. white issue. This is about human dignity, and our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
We pledge to do the following if Georgia follows through with its scheduled execution of Troy Davis:
1. Avoid travelling to or through Georgia.
2. Avoid flights that route through Hartsfield-Jackson (Atlanta) Airport.
3. Cancel all trade shows and conferences scheduled in Georgia.
4. Not attend any trade shows or conferences scheduled in Georgia.
5. Avoid, where possible, doing business with companies based in Georgia (Coca Cola, Home Depot, Delta Airlines, etc.).
6. Vote with our combined dollars a resounding disapproval of the state of Georgia.
If Georgia goes ahead with the execution of this man, we pledge to inflict severe economic hardship on the state in any legal means possible.
