Stop the Canadian governement from changeing the Fisheries Act to only protect the fish not the habitat that they live in. The Fisheries Act is the cornerstone to helping Aquatic Species! Without their suitable habitats all aquatic species will not be able to thrive naturally. We need to keep habitat protection in the act!

Historically, habitat destruction has been one of the main causes of damage to freshwater fisheries. Laws and regulations to prevent this destruction have been critical in preserving the sustainability of Canada's fresh water fisheries. Are we, as Canadians ready to abandon this long-standing record of intelligent stewarship now, for the sake of enhancing the bottom lines of a few wealthy corporations?
