ISKCON Temple in Secunderabad is a source of inspiration for lakhs of Hindu devotees in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in south India.
Apart from Lord Krishna, this temple complex houses 200 years old Deities of Dattatreya Swami, Goddess Kali, Navagraha, Ganesha and Sri Veer Hanuman which have been worshiped for generations.
On 25th June 2013, GHMC has issued notification for demolition of these places of worship in ISKCON and acquisition of the property.
This is a brazen attack on Hinduism and sentiments of millions of devotees. This is open discrimination and step motherly treatment of Hindus by the government.

Legend 2013 Uttarakhand flood

"A compelling legend is of Dhari Devi, guardian deity of Uttarakhand, whose idol was removed from her temple hours before the cloudburst. A manifestation of Goddess Kali, Dhari Devi is revered as the protector of the Char Dhams."
