Indiana has a statute limiting the time that a sexual assault can be prosecuted to only FIVE years. Most victims of sexual assault are too afraid to say anything for fear they will lose their family, friends, church or community or be ostracized at their work environment. By the time they become strong, independent and safe enough to come forward....the statute of limitations re-victimizes them.

Please help us eliminate the statute of limitations for sexual assault. Make it impossible for predators to escape prosecution and accountability by hiding behind the calendar.
