Give Farms back to the Farmers so that Animal Abuse will Stop

The Issue

Doesn't everybody love animals?  Animals are a reflection of how we see ourselves.  They mirror our inner selves and are blank slates.  To witness the abuse on dairy and meat farms across America is particularly disturbing.  It is so disturbing that most cannot bear even to watch videos.  Imagine the reality for the animal itself if you cannot even watch a video?  It is heart-wrenching.  But where does the real problem lie?  Do people really want to deliberately hurt animals?  No.  It is not moral.   Farmers don't want to do this either.  Farmers have children and those children learn from how their families treat helpless animals.  Do farmers with children want to display to their children the cruelty of locking up animals in such confinement that day and night they cannot even turn around?  Or chickens that cannot even stretch their wings?  Or chickens that cannot even sleep because of the stimulants added to their food?  We all can learn quite quickly of the horror of the lives of these animals.  Eventually, these animals will be slaughtered and eaten by Americans.  It is almost natural common sense to know the sadness and suffering in the meat transfers to the people eating it.  So there are multiple reasons to stop this cruelty.  Let's show our children that we respect all life.  Let's set an example.

But this must start with the owners of the farms.  Sadly, the operators are no longer the land owners.  The banks own the land through lien or government levy.  The banks tax the land and the farmers find themselves between a rock and a hard place.  The farmers are forced to confine animals in sadistically sad positions because the banks don't care.  The banks demand their taxes and the farmers are squeezed to treat animals cruelly.

Let's sign this petition to get Congress and the President to free the farms back to the farmers.  Let's abolish the unnecessarily cruel treatment of farm animals and allow them to live in some sort of peace while they await their slaughter.  Let's tell the President and the Congress that banks don't deserve to own and tax land that creates hardship for farming families and horrible cruelty for the animals.  With enough signatures we can make a voice behind the farmers, a voice based on MORALITY.  Thank you for your precious time and I pray the voice of a nation can ease the suffering of the livestock we need to survive.

John DunnPetition StarterI believe Government should fear people, people should NOT fear government. I do not mean physical fear. I mean government should fear not doing enough to help the people since the origin of government is to SERVE the people. Too many people forget their natural happy state is when Government is serving (fearing) the people. Their unnatural and immoral state is when the people are serving and (fearing) a Government. Common sense needs to be reinforced to remain common sense.
