About this Petition Petition Letter

We want to enhance the lives of impoverished people and introduce them to a network of resources that address the specifics to why they are living in poverty.  We help provide volunteers, resources, and events that empower people with the knowledge and tools they need in order to avoid poverty.  We work in accordance with existing non-profit agencies and community leaders to connect people to the resources and opportunities available, as well as create new programs to assist the community. Our non profit has a number of programs.  The books at home program is for children that are unable to afford books at home.

Dear Representative

The communities in low income areas are suffering. The school systems in poverty stricken areas do not have the resources and programs to uplift the community. Children living in poverty lack the essential tools needed to succeed in the educational realm. How can we expect a child to excel without the necessary resources needed to educate them? Teachers are overwhelmed and understaffed in some schools and this is affecting their ability to properly educate the youth. The children in our communities are being left behind although we promised there would be “No child left behind”. Schools need internet, computers, teacher’s aides, community programs, tutoring, music education, and art education. Too many programs have been cut back and the lack of resources is gravely affecting the youth. Help our communities take a stand and help us uplift our communities.
