Westboro Baptist Church gladly parades through highways, streets and suburbs with actual charter buses that read "God Hates Fags." Not only that, but they blast it as a logo, a cheerful sign for all to see: Our gays, our respectful religious folk, our impressionable children.
They are known as a radical organization that protests the funerals held by the loved ones left behind by dead soldiers, and they flash signs that say "God Hates America!", "God Hates Fags!", "Fags Doom Nations!" Too often have small children, no older than ten, been seen toting signs that spread anti-GLBT opinions and slander. It is sickening to all who see it; Except for the Westboro Baptist Church.
Stop the hatred!

Anti-Gay Buses on our Nation's Highways: Westboro Baptists Gone Too Far
Greetings, Respected Officals
It is a crying shame to see photos of buses that carry people from all walks of life, being painted up with anti-GLBT slander and the like. Children, visitors to this nation, and even Gays themselves are liable and in fact constantly likely to see these buses.
One may say that it is within their rights as Americans to advertise their organization on buses, but would one ever witness a pro-KKK advertisement on the side of a city bus? Would one ever see signs that say "Jews Get Out!", "Go Back to Africa!", "Islam is Terrorism!"? No.
Please, for the good of this nation in the eyes of the world view, and for the good of the youth growing up, do your own little part and remove these slanderous buses. Please make it illegal to have any kind of negative or hate-filled advertisement put publicly in view as a part of any building or public transportation vehicle. It is in the right of the LGBT citizens of this country, one nation under a loving God in the eyes of its citizens, to not have to feel stabbing hatred just by seeing a city bus.
I implore this petition to be read and thuroughly considered.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
A proud LGBT American.
