The Riverdale Mobile Home Park in Jersey Shore, PA was bought by Aqua America to build a water withdrawal station along the Susquehanna River to be used in gas drilling and fracking operations. 37 families will be evicted. The residents were offered $2,500 if they move out by June 1st. The lowest cost to move a mobile home is $5,000, plus hook up costs. Many of the residents simply can't afford to move. We are imploring Republican PA State Rep. Garth Everett to negotiate a better deal of behalf of his constituents.
