It has come to the attention of the student body at Full Sail University that a better security and alert system is needed for the Students and Staff on campus in case of an emergency. For the amount of money that students pay, the LEAST that the university can do is provide a text message alert system to alert students of possible dangers in the area. Since the recent acts of violence and robberies have occurred, this alert system needs to be implemented to inform the students on campus, as well as off campus to be on their guard more than usual. As students who pay a large amount of money to come to this amazing school, our safety should be a top priority. We would like to see this take effect in January, if no action is taken before.
