Friends of Mill River is a collaborative effort among residents of Rockville Centre East Rockaway, and Lynbrook who live near Mill River and it's surrounding wetlands being threatened by overdevelopment, as well as our adjacent residents surroundings.

The proposal is being rushed through without any apparent environmental or traffic impact study and  with little knowledge among the (support from the) tax paying residents in the community.  We do not want the light pollution, artificial additives to the ground or the extraneous noise and traffic. This is a quiet community, that enjoys migratory birds, heron's nesting on the riverbank, and stars above their heads at night. Molloy College has access to another areas to build their sports complex--leave Bligh - Kettler Field to the Little League community.
