One would think more than anyone President Obama would protect the very symbol of American freedom, The Wild Mustangs. Yet on his watch they are being rounded up at record levels and either kept in holding pens or worse. Special interests are lobbying to take more land from them and as their numbers are diminished the viable gene pool of natural selection and survival of the fittest may be lost forever. But in a time of energy issues their viability may be even more important. 100 years ago we had no oil and horses. 100 years from now we may have no oil or horses. Horses can work all day powered simply by grass and have served mankind for thousands of years. We must preserve OUR MUSTANGS at viable levels if not for them then for us. Please write the President directly and tell hem we must preserve the American symbol of freedom.
